Sea the Change is Stand Up To Trash’s flagship environmental education program, bringing underserved youth out onto the water for transformative, no-cost sailing experiences.

Through our floating classroom, students learn directly from marine scientists, participate in ocean sweeps, contribute to real-world citizen science and experience the magic of the sea, many for the very first time.

In just five years, we’ve served over 500 youths. Each sail teaches them that the ocean starts at their front door and that they have the power to protect it.

But to keep this life changing program afloat and expand its reach, we rely on sponsors who believe in both environmental impact and social equity.
