A fun and interactive way for participants to appreciate and connect with our City

Old Dana Point


A free 10 stop, month long fun and interactive citywide historical self-guided tour of some of the iconic places that makes this city so great! 

Each stop is identified by a QR code to learn more about the stop and sponsor hosting. 

Join us in a historical and environmental journey exploring the City of Dana Point. 

Blending fun and learning to take you around our City to reveal the unique history and culture of our waterfront paradise.


Explorers will dive into the fascinating history of Dana Point with stops like the Richard Henry Dana Statue, Drogher Park -the oldest in Dana Point, Kiitcha Huts from the Acjachemen Tribe and more! 


April 1, 2024 through April 22, 2024


Explores will go all around the City from Salt Creek Beach to Doheny and everywhere in between.

1. Visit each stop, take a pic of the location and/or use hashtag #DanaPointScavengerHunt to track your progress

2. Once all 10 stops have been completed and you've participated in either the Stand Up To Trash event or Doheny State Beach Earth Day event, email us your pics

**BONUS for picking up trash at the location, take a pic of the cleanup! 


After all 10 stops have been completed, participants will need to attend either the Stand Up To Trash or Doheny State Beach Earth Day Beach Cleanup to be eligible to win a prize!
